红十字作证 (1991)故事梗概，古都西安某医院医师于学诚下班回家，见患小儿麻痹症的女儿小惠正坐在轮椅里吹长笛，他沉醉在欣慰和爱怜之中。突然，电话铃声打破了这短暂的恬静。一个叫刘义的男孩出了车祸，于大夫急忙赶往医院。虽然经过全力抢救，但最终还是“脑死亡”。刘义的母亲刘萍得知噩耗后，给远在北京的前夫，刘义的生父卢正涛挂电话，要他来看孩子。这时，于学诚想到自己的老同学、女医师郑楠，她在深圳市的儿童肾病治疗中心工作，曾多次向社会呼吁，拯救那些因肾病得不到根本治疗的病危儿童。郑楠接到十学诚的邀请后，决定马上赴西安，做刘义母亲的工作。
